Accommodation

Our school offers separate accommodation for female and male boarding students. The following pictures are represenative for all student rooms at Kishumundu Secondary School.

 

Impressions from the girls dormitory:

 

 

 

To fullfil our requirements the dormitory for girls will be extended by two additional buildings. The first one is currently in construction (picture of July 2012). It is erected with financial support by the Tanzanian National Park Authorities .

 

 

 

The second will be erected on this place (july 2012). It will be erected with financial support by the Tanzanian National Park Authorities .

 

 

 

The second extention building in july 2013, shortly before concrete was poured onto the roof construction. The two extensions were completed and handed-over in 2015.

 

New Boy dormitory

Our friends of Helfen macht Schule and the german goverment provided financial support to erect a new dormitory for boys in 2013.

Successful teaching

Kishumundu Secondary School (School Registration No. s0492) in 2016 on position no. 471 of 3280 schools (= within the TOP 15%) in the final National Examinations of form IV students.

NEW: In 2017 we reached pos. 564 of 3039 schools.  Nationwide we are within the TOP 18,6 % of all schools.
